Three major public transit bus systems provide access to UCLA and Westwood Village.
Los Angeles Metro lines 2, 20, 302 and 305 and Metro Rapid 720 and 761 serve campus, or you can transfer from other Metro bus lines.
Santa Monica Big Blue Bus lines 1, 2, 3, 8 and 12 bring you to campus, or you can transfer from other Culver City lines.
Culver City Bus line 6 brings you directly to campus, or you can transfer from other Culver City lines.
UCLA BruinBus Campus Shuttle is a complimentary year-round bus service that serves the UCLA campus and the Wilshire Center. Visitors, students, staff and faculty alike are welcome to board the UCLA Bruin Campus Shuttle.
Three new stops have been added to the BruinBus Wilshire route:
- Southeast corner of Lindbook/Westwood (Northbound)
- Northwest corner of Westwood/Lindbrook (Southbound)
- Across from Murphy Hall (Southbound)
BruinBus Westwood Shuttle
Take BruinBus to the grocery store Saturday and Sunday afternoons! The shuttle picks up at De Neve Plaza and Hedrick Hall and drops off at Tiverton and Le Conte next to Ralphs Market. The grocery shuttle runs every Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 3:35 p.m., through June 11, 2017.
UCLA Campus Express is a free campus shuttle stopping approximately every 8–10 minutes from 7:00 am –7:00 pm. The pick-up location is across the street from the FlyAway bus stop on Kinross Avenue. Look for the kiosk in front of UCLA Parking Lot 36. For transportation to your hotel, refer to Public Transportation and Taxis.
The closest major airport to UCLA is Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). You can access the UCLA campus from LAX via car, public transit, a commercial shuttle such as Super Shuttle or the FlyAway bus, a special service provided by UCLA Transportation and the airport.
